Hua Hin Golf Clubs

In the 1920’s one of the Thailand’s very first railways connected Bangkok to Hua Hin, transferring the capital’s upper crust to the southern beaches at weekends for fresh air and reief from the pressure of Bangkok. Hua Hin was the nation’s very first resort location, and has long had an air of exclusivity, thanks to the personal houses kept by Thai royalty and the capital’s rich elite that trace the coast of Hua Hin’s 4km long, ivory sand beach. Unlike some resort towns and destinations in Thailand, Hua Hin has more of a family feel to it and isn’t overdeveloped in comparison to other destinations in Thailand.

Hua Hin as a Golf Destination

The area surrounding Hua Hin is home to almost twenty golf courses for golf enthusiasts to enjoy, with a wide variety of course styles to suit any golfers game. Additionally, Hua Hin provides a slightly more upmarket destination for golf compared to other areas of Thailand, but is still very affordable compared to US and European destinations. Staying centrally in the town centre provides the ideal base from which to transfer to any of the local courses in the day and enjoy the city’s nightlife, restaurants, and sprawling markets by night.
