About KING NAGA GOLF CLUB
The King Naga Golf Club is situated on the banks of the scenic Dok Krai reservoir, which takes around 40 minutes’ drive from downtown Pattaya on highway 36. Originally opened in 1993 under the name of Great Lake Golf & Country Club the course has recently been renamed the King Naga Golf Club. The course is one of a number of Nick Faldo designed clubs in Thailand and provides some of the best value golf in the Pattaya area. The flat layout of the course make it suitable for beginners, however, the cool breezes that often sweep in from the reservoir make King Naga an enjoyable place for a round of golf for golfers of all handicaps.
The club itself is a nicely laid out, relatively flat, links style course, which considering its close proximity to one of the largest bodies of water in the Pattaya area, lacks water hazards. The course is a total of 6,910 yards from the back tee and what it lacks in water hazards, it makes up for in bunkers. There are a total of 120 bunkers at King Naga, most of which line the fairways.

The caddies are friendly and knowledgeable at King Naga, with a few of them able to speak basic English.
Facilities
The club house facilities at King Naga are a little run down, however, the restaurant provides good value and tasty food and cold beers. There are decent practice facilities at the club, including a driving range and two practice greens, one of which has a sand bunker.
Course Maintenance
Unfortunately, many golfers report that the maintenance at King Naga can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes, during the dry season, the fairways and greens can be a little dry and sandy. Despite this, with green fees starting at THB600, King Naga Golf Club still provides a great value round of golf.
