Only 25 minutes from downtown in the hills behind Pattaya, Pattaya Country Club is ideally situated just off the 331 highway en route to Rayong. Surrounded by pineapple and palm plantations, Pattaya CC is among the closest golf clubs to the town and suitable for high handicappers and those trying to find excellent value for money. Pattaya Country Club Golf Resort has just recently re-opened following a prolonged closure and has been thoroughly remodelled.
A fascinating design with dual fairways and some intelligently situated bunkers yet not excessive water to ruin your card. Pattaya Country Club is extended on over 2,000 rai of park-like land in the middle of carefully rolling hills and is among the closest courses to Pattaya. The golf course is great and reasonably easy for golf enthusiasts of all capabilities.
The front 9 are quite simple and it is not till your reach the 9th which is a long uphill par-4 and ranked the most hard on the course that things begin to get fascinating and might cause a dropped shot. A number of the holes include double fairways producing more challenges for lower handicapped golfers along with more safe paths to the greens for higher handicapped players. The greens are normally well protected by bunkers, and several are rather hilly.
The back 9 is certainly far more interesting with numerous dangers in play.
