About Krung Kavee Golf Course & Country Club
Established in 1995, Krung Kavee is a uniquely designed private members golf club that also allows non-members to play located near to Don Muang International Airport, around a 40 minute drive from downtown Bangkok.
Situated in vast, beautiful landscaping of more than a 1,000 rai, with more than one kilometer of the course alongside the Rungsit Canal, Krung Kavee Golf Course was meticulously designed by Japanese-American Landscape Golf Course Designer Mr. Manabu Sakamoto. Many of the holes are surrounded by natural waterways and strategically placed bunkering. The well designed landscapes of the course provide golfers with a visual symphony of botanical gardens, offering shade in warm weather for a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy a full day of golf. The lack of pesticides used on the course increases the biodiversity of the course, exotic birds find sanctuary in the surrounding trees and the diverse plant life and fish offer an additional dynamic of activity and color to our ponds and lakes.
The course features a number of challenging, feature holes. Notably, hole 6, a 445 yds, par 4 is particularly difficult with large, deep, sand traps placed directly in front of the green, this hole is among the most challenging par 4’s in the Bangkok area. Hole 9 with its green situated on an Island in the center of the lake 150yds from the tee and requires precision from the golfer to avoid the water hazard.Finally, hole 13 features a right-angle dogleg lined with long, narrow sand traps and a large lake provides a challenge for players of all abilities despite being just 375yds in length.
The experience at Krung Kavee is good and definitely recommended for anyone who wants to play decent and inexpensive golf in Bangkok.

First Tee Off is at 6:00AM at Krung Kavee with pre-noon green fees ranging from 2400THB on weekdays to 3300THB on wekends. After 12:00PM green fees drop to 1600THB weekdays and 2700THB on weekends. Krung Kavee also have special rates starting from 700THB for tee off after 3:30PM.

The clubhose at Krung Kavee is small but very well equipped with modern changing facilities and the resteruant serves up great Thai cuisine in beautiful surroundings.

The course is superbly maintained with a state-of-the-art sprinkler and irrigation system, designed to maintain consistent fairways and greens at all times. Unlike many golf courses, the course at Krung Kavee Golf and Country Club uses biodynamic maintenance methods to encourage beneficial plant life, soil development and natural pest control to establish a self-sufficient eco-system without the use of chemicals and other toxins.
