About Pinehurst Golf & Country Club
Originally opened in 1990, Pinehurst Golf and Country Club was once one of the top golf courses in Bangkok but compared to some of the newer courses in the Bangkok area, it’s a little dated. The course is located around a 45 minute drive north of central Bangkok, and despite being in need of upgrading, Pinehurst Golf Club offers a challenging round of golf.
The highlight at Pinehurst Golf Club are the water obstacles placed at practically every hole, particularly the North Course. Every hole has a water hazard other than Hole 8 Par 3 of the West Course which features a raised plain’ with the height of a one-story structure of around 130 yards. It permits golf enthusiasts to challenge themselves and see the gorgeous landscapes of the golf course. The hole of North 8 that might alter from Par 5 to Par 4. The Par 5’s specialized is the drive of Shot 1 that has a water obstacle to the left of the fairway. The difficulty of the fairway that players should understand is that the fairway is formed like a dogleg that permit skilled golfers to strike over the water for a slim opportunity of a 2 on. It is rather tough and depends upon the truth on how well you drive, which would be the indication of the next shot. If played securely you need to put the very first and next 2 shots well, and a par will be well assured.

The caddies, and most of the other staff here, are not as attentive as some of the other golf clubs in Thailand and English is not spoken by most of the caddies.
Facilities
The once elegant clubhouse is now in need of updating and the on-site facilities are now showing their age. Despite this, the restaurant still serves up reasonably priced, tasty meals.
Course Maintenance
The course at Pinehurst Golf Club is generally well maintained however the greens tend to be on the slow side and can be a little unpredictable. Overall, the course is in fair condition.
