About The Vintage Club
First opened in 1996, The Vintage Club is located in the Samut Prakan area of Bangkok, around an hour’s drive from downtown. The clubs location to the East of Bangkok makes it a perfect choice for golfers looking to stop off on the way to or from Pattaya. The club has played host to several Thai PGA and LPGA tour events in recent years, all set against the club’s impressive Tudor style clubhouse.
The Vintage Club Golf Course is a championship standard Golf Course, with 18 holes, 72 par and is 6,720 yard-long from the back tees. It was designed by renowned American golf course architects Arthur Hills and Associates. The Golf Course was designed in a classic style and has rolling terrain peppered with deep bunkering. Water comes into play on many of the holes, often protecting the greens.
Each hole has different form of a difficulty and as a result the vintage is a true challenge for the players to enjoy throughout the game. Hole 7 is a 497 yard par 5 – The first fairway bunker is deep and high sided but can be carried by longer hitters. The hole tempts the powerful drivers to go for the green in two and cut across the lake that guards the front of the green and shots over the green ends up in difficult rough, therefore, careful planning on the approach is vital. A second lay-up shot is usually far enough for the approach to come in along the length of the green.

The Vintage Club Tee Times and Green Fees
Tee times start at 6:00am with last Tee Off at Lakewood being just before 4:00pm. Prices are a little more expensive than some of the Bangkok Clubs and range from THB2600 in the week to THB3800 at weekends.
Caddies
The caddies at the Vintage are generally very knowledgeable and friendly, although only a few of them speak any English.
Facilities
The Club House is an impressive 6,000 Sq.M. English Tudor Style building, surrounded by a beautiful environment and there is a refreshing large fountain in the middle of the Club House. The design is focused on the players and the visitors’ comfort with male and female locker areas, and facilities, such as, steam room, Jacuzzi, living area, traditional massage room, body massage and foot massage.
In the restaurant, there are wide range of food choices, with good quality, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Western options all on offer. The Vintage Golf Course also has a putting green and a driving range, which is 350 yard-long for the players to practice.
Course Maintenance
The golf course is exceptionally well maintained all year round and has excellent drainage making it a good choice all year round. The greens are well maintained, fast and true, making them a delight to play.
